Privacy

Zwenn stores event details, the names participants choose, their selected availability, and timezones so scheduling works correctly. Active events currently expire after 90 days by default.

Organizer accounts

If you create an organizer profile, Zwenn stores your name, email address, password hash, secure login sessions, and the events linked to your account. Passwords are not stored in readable form. One-time first-sign-in and password-recovery links expire after 20 minutes.

Archived and deleted events

When an organizer archives an event, new participation and availability changes are closed, but the event and its existing responses remain stored so the organizer can review or restore it. If the organizer chooses permanent deletion, the event, participant records, availability, event changes, linked notifications, and other event-dependent records are deleted and cannot be restored.

Device storage

Functional local storage remembers participant access, language, theme, event state, organizer-link migration information, and offline edits. This data supports app features and is not used to profile you. Removing the PWA or clearing browser storage can remove device-only information, but events linked to a signed-in organizer account remain available from My Events.

Analytics

We may use analytics to understand how Zwenn is used, monitor performance, and improve the app. Analytics may include pages visited, general device and browser information, approximate location, and interaction or error data. We do not use analytics to serve targeted advertising or sell personal information.

Notifications

If an organizer enables notifications, Zwenn stores that device’s encrypted push subscription and associates it with organizer events. It is used only to send relevant event alerts and is removed when the device unsubscribes, the subscription expires, or an associated event is permanently deleted.
